Inn On Maple Description:
Midway up the Door Peninsula in the Village of Sister Bay on a residential street is our Inn, a turn of the century building listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The "Inn on Maple" sits below the bluffs of Green Bay and is located between Peninsula State Park and Newport State Park, as well as being convenient to other county parks, the village beach, restaurants, shops and marina. A bluffside trail is within walking distance of the inn.
Pastimes in Door County might involve boating, biking, fishing, golfing, hiking, horseback riding, and swimming in summer. Cross-country skiing, sledding, skating, and snowmobiling are popular in the winter. The Ridges Sanctuary, the Mink River Estuary, the American Folklore Theater, the Peninsula Music Festival, the art galleries and outdoor concerts are available nearby. We are happy to provide menus, maps, information about events happening locally and tips for enjoying your stay with us.

Other Amenities ...
Staying at the "Inn on Maple" offers the privacy of a quiet room or the sociability of our "Gathering Room." In summer our backyard lends itself to birdwatching, relaxing or quiet conversation. The rooms are upstairs, accommodate two people each, and are furnished with antique beds, affording a restful night's sleep in an atmosphere of yesteryear. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom. The entire Inn is air conditioned.
"Breakfast is served"
We serve breakfast on our sunny enclosed front porch, or in our "Gathering Room" by the fire, or even outside on our deck, at 8:30AM. An "early-riser breakfast basket" is available upon request in advance. Breakfast may include fresh fruits, juice, homemade muffins or breads, and a new breakfast selection daily from our collection of recipes.
