Grapevine Log Cabins Bed & Breakfast Description:
Grapevine Log Cabins is a Sparta Wisconsin Bed & Breakfast Inn for Sparta Wisconsin lodging with three private log cabins nestled in a pine setting in the country on a farm in Western Wis.
Our private cabins are rustic, yet modern. Two cabins have lofts with twin beds and queen beds downstairs and one is on one floor with a queen bed and pull out queen couch.
Light entwined grapevines cast a romantic glow with comfy homemade quilts adorning the beds.
Cookout on our outdoor gas grills. A picnic area is provided with fire grills for sitting out at night in the moonlight under the stars.
Wide porches adorn the cabins.
Everything is furnished for your enjoyment, coffee, dishes, the bathrooms have fluffy towels, hair dryers, shampoos and shower gels.
We have a mile long hiking trail running threw the woods where you can see deer and turkeys, birds and wild flowers. Pick Blackberries in the July & August. Of course Ruby our dog will accompany you on your walks. In the fall season the colors are beautiful with leaves falling.
A full breakfast is served in the morning at the main house where you can watch the colorful birds eating right outside the window and enjoy all the beautiful flowers planted all over.
A Log Cabin gift shop is there to shop in filled with quilted items of all kinds, North woods gifts, antiques ,Quilting table cloths, wall hangings, large Queen and full size quilts, throws, made by the owner, also painted antique windows, flower pots, vases also painted by the owner. Many more unique things.
Grapevine Log Cabins is only 1½ miles from the famous Sparta-Elroy bike trail with its 3 tunnels and also meets the Lacrosse River biking trail at that point. Canoeing & kayaking is a nearby sport on the Kickapoo and Black rivers. We are 5 miles from Sparta where you can spend a leisurely day golfing and eat out at good restaurants. We are 20 miles from La Crosse with its great shopping, dining, and boat cruises on the Mississippi, fishing on the river or small streams around.
We also have a large Amish community, where auctions are held and open Farmers Markets with great fresh veg & flowers etc.
. Our local festivals are Butter fest in Sparta during June and the famous Cranberry fest in Warrens during the fall. Winter fun includes snowmobiling, cross country and downhill skiing.
