Grey Stone Manor B&B Description:
The manor was built around the turn of the century on the old stage coach run to Helotes. The area was originally settled by the Canary Islanders and Mexican landowners since the area was part of Mexico in the early 1800's. The area is rich with history of Mexican bandits and local Indians. On a still night, as you sit on your porch, one can hear the Indian calls of the past in the nearby woods.
The home was constructed of native rock by the Islanders as a residence. the home was owned by the original family until bought by the current owner in 1994. The renovations began with the comfort and needs of the guests in mind. The project has been and still is a "Labor of Love". Every guest feels welcomed and is no stranger by the host. Grey Stone Manor is truely a "Home Away From Home". Every traveller needs to experience this warmth and hospitality.
