Azalea Plantation B&B Description:
AZALEA PLANTATION in Fort Worth, TX is quite a welcome surprise ... a stately plantation style home reminiscent of Tara, nestled among almost two acres of majestic oaks and magnolias. This historic home was built 1948 by W.I. Browning, a prominent Fort Worth builder, and was enjoyed by his own family for 22 years. Later the home underwent major renovations after being purchased by a church as a home for their pastor. The spacious terraced grounds entreat you to linger and listen to the relaxing sounds of water trickling down the picturesque fountain. A romantic gazebo and wooden yard swing invite guests to "sit a spell" and enjoy the serenity of the Dixie meadow. Our bed and breakfast is located near the Ft. Worth Museums, Downtown Sundance Square, Historic Stockyards, Cultural District, and TCU.
