Built in 1888, the Farmhouse has a vibrant history first serving as a boarding house for migrant workers. In 1913 the Farmhouse was purchased by great uncle Camille Charbonneau. Later, Grandfather Wilfred Richer, with the help of his wife Laura, purchased the farm and raised and maintained seven children and 40 head of cattle. After the death of Wilfred, son Dale Richer bought the farm where many cousins spent their younger years. In 2002 renovations began to rejuvenate the house which had fallen into disrepair.
