The traditional, yet cheery parlor or screened-in wrap around porch provide special places to curl up with a good book you brought with you or from our varied library, catch up on letter writing or converse with the innkeepers and other guests. Relax in front of the fireplace in the Gathering Room and enjoy panoramic views of the rolling Blue Mountains that surround the inn. Here you can watch TV, use the VCR or DVD player, or play a game on the large oak table and imagine what life was like on a Maine farm a century ago. You could also choose to unwind in the billiard parlor and play a game of pool on the maple billiard table. Maybe you need to soak your muscles in the outdoor hot tub. In the evening you can relax in the courtyard around the outdoor fireplace and toast smores .
