Coveside Bed & Breakfast Description:
Coveside Bed & Breakfast sits on five secluded acres on a rocky cove, near the village of Five Islands, in Georgetown, Maine. Every room has a water view, whether in the main house of the bed and breakfast or the Cottage Guest House. In addition to lobster boats, neighbors on the cove include gulls, herons, osprey, even an occasional seal or moose. Yet Bath, Boothbay, Wiscasset, and the bustle of mid-coast Maine's Route 1 are within easy reach.
You can spend your days actively or relaxed. Start with a gourmet breakfast on the terrace overlooking a special Maine coastal view; then take the canoe for a picnic at nearby Turnip Island or for lunch at one of the nearby lobster wharfs. Sunbathe on the dock or at Mile Beach at Reid State Park. Stroll along the shore through nearby nature preserves or take our bicycles to explore the uncrowded byways of Georgetown. Venture further afield to explore some of mid-coast Maine's favorite destinations -- Camden, Boothbay Harbor, or Freeport; or just pass the time away on the terrace, watching the boats in Sheepscot Bay.
