Most are nestled in floral gardens, others in a village on the edge of Volcanoes National Park on the Big Island of Hawaii. Guests enjoy a "more than you can eat" breakfast over which visiting geologists, vulcanologists, historians, wildlife scientists, writers, artists and world travelers discuss their missions in this exciting part of the world. Your hosts, Gordon and Joann, along with their daughter Kii Morse as general manager, have lived in Volcano for 36 years and are experts in touring all the Hawaiian Islands. My Island B&B Inn is one of the oldest in the state, and is a member of the Hawaii Visitors and Convention Bureau, the Professional Association of Innkeepers International, and the Hawaii Island B&B Association, Inc. My Island Bed & Breakfast Inn Amenities and Features:
Other Amenities ... The Cymbidium House This house has warm cedar walls, country decor, a skylight in the kitchen, and a covered back lanai with see-through roof. The master bedroom has a queen bed and private bathroom. There is another bathroom in the hallway between the other two bedrooms. One room has a queen bed, the third bedroom has two single beds. The living room has a wrap around couch, wood stove (the only source of heat for the house), a t.v., v.c.r., d.v.d player, and cassette tape stereo. The traditionally designed Red Room (aka STUDIO) with period style wainscotting is a studio with kitchenette, private bath, a queen and a single bed, telephone and television. A special amenity is the glass roof over the tub/shower. Deck House Extensive lawn for kids to play, and flowered gardens surrounding the house.Cathederal ceiling living and dining room with woodstove, TV, VCR, phone, that opens onto a covered deck through French doors to provide a generous meeting room for groups.
