A wonderful gourmet breakfast is served every morning at 8a.m. in our cozy breezeway. Breakfast offers a variety of fruits, meats, cheeses, eggs, cereals, jams, breads, pancakes or french toast.
Kona coffee, tea, juice and milk complete your selection. The breakfast room is a perfect place for our orchids to grow and you will be able to see why the Big Island is also called the Orchid Isle.
As your hosts we enjoy the time during breakfast, when we can share some of the secrets of this area or just talk story with you.

Hale Makamae Bed & Breakfast Reservation Policies and Payment Information:

Our rates are between $90-$140 per night plus tax for double occupancy. The larger Suites can accommodate more than two persons. Each additional person over 6 years of age is $20 per night plus tax extra.
We generally have a two-night minimum stay policies. For one-night arrangements we add $20-$30 surcharge.
Weekly rates are available: You only pay for six nights and get one night for free.
Your reservation is complete as soon as we receive a deposit for the first two nights. Should your stay be longer than one week, we require a 50% deposit. The balance is due at check-in and is non-refundable for an early check-out, unless rooms can be re-booked.
We accept Traveler's Checks, Money Order or personal checks (US Bank) for your reservation. Checks should be made out to "Hale Makamae Bed & Breakfast". The remainder of your balance can be also paid in cash once you are here. Please, be advised that all payments have to be made in US currency.
Should you have to cancel your reservation we will refund your deposit, if the cancellation was made at least 30 days prior to your planned arrival.
