Hiawassee is a North Georgia Mountain community located just minutes from Helen GA, Clayton, GA, NC, SC and TN, and 15 minutes from Georgia's highest point - Brasstown Bald (4,784 feet). Henson Cove Place is convenient to many great attractions in the Georgia Mountains such as the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds and John C. Campbell Folk School with year-round events. We are a part the Southern Highroads Trail and also the Georgia Wine Highway. Water abounds all around Henson Cove, being minutes from Lake Chatuge, whitewater rafting and tubing trips on the Chattahoochee, Nantahala and Ocoee Rivers. Other acitivies in the area are horseback riding, golf, antiquing, and a variety of beautiful state parks.
