The Historic Inns of Niagara offer a one telephone call solution to a bed and breakfast stay in the Heritiage district of Niagara on the Lake. From our more upscale Burke House Cottage with a Gazebo Garden to our jewel - Post House Country INN- "amenities of a *****Star hotel in a bed and bed and breakfast setting". A full concierage service is offered at the Post House Country INN, an outdoor heated pool and hot tub, surrounded by the lush gardens completes the ambiance. In-room massages, special birthday and anniverary packages are customized for our guests.
Built in 1835 by master builder James Blain, who was involved in many building projects during the early years of beautiful and scenic Niagara-on-the-Lake, the Post House Inn, circa 1835, served as the towns Post Office during the years in which former, Mr Connell was the Postmaster. According to the local historical map this building is also referred to as the Blain-Lansing House and was also used for small educational instruction for local children.
