Our garden's Adirondack chairs provide a front row seat for spectacular sunsets, whale and sea bird watching. The inn's pathways and gardens make strolling the grounds a delight. A two-person love seat swing and a hammock hang from 100 year old cypress trees that face the sea.
Our 8 romantic cottages and 2 rooms feature King or Queen feather beds, fireplaces, sherry, ocean views, private decks, TV, VCR, HBO and wireless internet. The private baths are complete with luxury robes. Some have spa or soaking tubs or showers for two.
A thoughtfully prepared breakfast is served in the 1860's main house with the same ocean view. Our guest services room has over 200 movies, hot beverages, ice machine, books and CD's all available 24 hours a day.
The inn is less than 1/2 a mile from the historic village of Mendocino and worlds away from the stress of everyday life. Hiking, biking, canoeing, golf, tennis, spas, dining, theatre, shopping and wine tasting are some of the many activities.

Cancellation policy: With 14 days notice, your deposit (less a $25 service fee) will automatically be refunded or a credit issued to your credit card account. With less than 14 days notice, a refund (less a $25 service fee) will be given, provided we are able to re-rent the room.
Most of our rooms accommodate two people maximum. We have a designated family cottage and a pet friendly cottage. These types of reservations must be booked with an innkeeper. There is a $30 fee per night for a 3rd guest, regardless of age. There is a $20 flat fee if your pet is travelling with you. Arrival with unregistered guests\pet is subject to cancellation with no refund.
Smoking is prohibited in all of our rooms and common areas.
