In June 2010, this landmark property within walking distance to the shops and restaurants of Lenox was purchased by new owners who will bring some contemporary flair to this 140-year old mansion.
Located on the hill top of two elevated acres; Kemble Inn offers open views of the splendid Berkshire Mountains. This oasis of green space in the center of Lenox is equally suited for your next personal getaway, as it is for weddings, anniversaries, reunions, corporate meetings and special events.
Kemble Inn is in the heart of the Berkshires, an area rich with theatre, music and dance including the summer home of Boston Symphony Orchestra’s Tanglewood, Berkshire and Williamstown Theatre, Shakespeare & Company and Jacob’s Pillow. Attractions in the area include The Norman Rockwell Museum, Edith Wharton’s The Mount and The Clark Art Institute.
For outdoor enthusiasts the Berkshire Mountains provide hiking and horseback trails as well as skiing at Bousquet and Butternut Ski Areas.
Thirteen guest rooms all with private bath; and nine wood- burning fireplaces grace the property.

Kemble Inn Bed & Breakfast Reservation Policies and Payment Information:

During the Summer season, a three-night minimum stay is required on weekends. To confirm your reservation, a 50% deposit per room is required on stays more than one night. A 100% deposit is required for one-night stays. There is an additional charge of $35 for more than two occupants. There is an additional charge of $45 for sofa beds and cots. Rates are subject to change without notice.
Cancellations must be received at least 14 days prior to scheduled arrival date for refund of the deposit. Cancellations received within 14 days of scheduled arrival date are non-refundable unless the room can be rebooked less a 10% processing fee based on the total costs of reservation. No shows and early departures will be charged in full. Rates are per night, based on double occupancy and are subject applicable taxes. We recommend you purchase your own trip insurance if you believe you may need to cancel your visit last minute.
Check-in time from 3 PM - 7 PM.
Check-out by 11 AM.
