Newport House Bed and Breakfast Description:
Newport House Bed and Breakfast is Williamsburg, Virginia's, most historically authentic Bed and Breakfast. It was built to museum standards in 1988, from the 1756 design by famous architect Peter Harrison for the Banister Plantation near Newport, RI, that was destroyed on its 200th birthday to make way for a carpark.
Newport House Bed and Breakfast is totally furnished in the period with English and American antiques and reproductions (over a dozen designed by Harrison). Most Bed and Breakfasts in the neighborhood are limited to two rooms apiece, which means that we can concentrate on providing luxury and personal service to our guests.
Newport House Bed and Breakfast has off-street parking, and is only a 5-minute walk from the Historic District of Williamsburg. Visitors to Colonial Williamsburg, will find staying at Newport House Bed and Breakfast an extra special treat.
Due to the themed nature of our accommodations, guests can immerse themselves in the Colonial period. Surprisingly, Newport House Bed and Breakfast is the only one of Williamsburg's 24 Bed and Breakfasts to embrace the historical theme.
