Mountain Laurel Inn Description:
A Victorian Bed & Breakfast
Innkeepers, Jim & Nathalie Graham, welcome guests to the Mountain Laurel Inn. The Inn is located in Damascus nestled in the mountains of Southwest Virginia. The Inn is a Queen Anne Victorian home built between 1901 and 1903.
The bed and breakfast is conveniently located, allowing guests easy access to recreation locations such as the Virginia Creeper Trail, golf courses, horseback riding, fishing, Bristol Motor Speedway, hiking, theatre and dining.
When you stay with us, "Our home is your home, only we do all the work!" Once inside, you will fall in love with the original red oak and chestnut wood panels on the walls and ceilings, reminiscent of the quality craftsmanship of days gone by.

Other Amenities ...
Hiking
Whether you are a serious hiker or just getting into it, the area offers many beautiful trails, including the famous Appalachian Trail and the soon to be famous, Virginia Creeper Trail. Damascus has several specialty shops that handle hiking needs from walking sticks to trail maps.
Biking
Six bike rental shops offer a wide variety of bikes and flexible shuttle services. You can choose a shuttle that includes their bike or take your own along.
Horseback Riding
Horse trails abound as do places to rent horses or to board your own. If your interest is only in looking, not riding, you'll want to see the wild horses in the nearby recreational areas. They're one of our most popular tourist attractions for young and old alike.
Fishing
Rivers, lakes, and mountain streams offer great bass and trout fishing. Boat rentals are available at a number of these. Experienced fishermen are available as guides to the "best fishing" around.
