The Colonial House Inn Description:
The Colonial House has been awarded a 2-Star and "unusually good value" rating by the Mobil Travel Guide. It is located one and one-half miles south of the historic village of Weston on Route 100. The large living room for our guests, with an aura of warmth and friendliness, is complete with aged beamed ceilings, lots of comfortable overstuffed furniture, wide plank floors and the warmest stove in Vermont. There is a light and airy solarium where you can sit and enjoy the Vermont sun; read a book; or visit with other guests. For the more ambitious, there is a game room. Upstairs are six charming guest rooms or if you prefer one of our nine motel rooms, you will find them bright and cheerful. Each motel has a private bath, television and a covered porch with views of the Green Mountains.

Other Amenities ...
Meals at the Colonial House are a special occasion. You will awake to the smell of warm breads, fresh from our affiliated bakery, "Grandma Miller's Pies and Pastries." Then start your day with the breakfast that "Yankee Travel Guide" named "Vermont's Favorite Breakfast." Bottomless cups of fresh brewed and steaming coffee or tea, fresh fruit and coffee cakes, followed with old-fashioned hot cereal and pancakes with Vermont maple syrup. If you are not in the mood for pancakes, the menu features a wide selection of ingredients to create your own omelets or you may pick the chef's suggested daily special. In the afternoon, you can relax in the living room over tea or coffee that is always available. Help yourself to lemonade in the summer or hot mulled wine in the winter, while you sample some of the latest offerings from the Bakery.
