There is a place in southwestern Vermont where back roads lead to lush horse farms, where peace and quiet abound. The air is cool all summer long and vistas stretch for miles. That place is Meadowood Farm, a decidedly unique mountaintop experience. On 18 acres, Meadowood is a safe haven of Vermont forest, fields and meadows. Take in the panoramic views of Mount Graylock, the Bennington Monument and the entire Bennington Valley. Bring your horse and trail ride at a neighboring stable or visit with our young Belgian gelding, Sonny.

Meadowood Farm is on 18 acres of meadow and woods. Hiking or cross-country ski trails are maintained throughout the surrounding forest. Three guest rooms are located in our older farmhouse. A new addition (2005) has our luxury suite. All guests rooms are on the second floor. Two of our deluxe rooms have king beds, sitting areas with TV and private bathrooms. A standard room grouping has twin beds and a queen bed, TV, and private bathroom. Our suite has a king bed, sitting area with TV, private bathroom with whirlpool tub, and an anteroom with kitchenette/wet bar. As experienced innkeepers, we place our guests' comfort as our highest priority. We serve a complimentary country breakfast using all natural products including Vermont cheddar cheese and our own maple syrup tapped from our trees. Exceptional dinners are offered at a reasonable price. Arrangements for dinner must be made by noon on the requested day (or made prior to the requested day).

Meadowood Farm, a Bed and Breakfast Reservation Policies and Payment Information:

Payment is by personal check, credit card (Visa, Mastercard), or cash. A deposit of $75 is required for a one-night stay; a deposit of $100 is required for two or more nights stay. Normally if a cancellation occurs within one week prior to the reservation, deposit monies are returned. If the cancallation is less than one week prior to the reservation, the deposit is retained. Depending upon circumstances, credit for a similar stay may be offered.
