Old Parkdale Inn Description:
Located just 15 miles south of Hood River, Oregon, and the Columbia River Gorge, is the Old Parkdale Inn, the half way point between the Gorge and the Mt on the Mt Hood Scenic Byway.
Decorated with the feel and colors of the Pacific Northwest, our three rooms, Chinook, Douglas Fir and Meadowlark, have queen beds, private bath with shower/tub combination, mini fridge, a microwave, and a coffee machine with a large selection of teas, coffee, and cocoa, wall mounted flat screen TV with built in DVD players, hairdryer, alarm clock, fans, and heaters. DVDs, videos, books, games, and puzzles in our lofty attic are available for your enjoyment. Laundry and ironing facilities are also available. Free WiFi and satellite reception.
Chinook has a balcony overlooking the back gardens and a spacious sitting room. Doug Fir also has a sitting room and a view of Mt Hood Hood. Meadowlark, All have a micro wave, frig, coffee machine and a basket of teas, cocoa, cider, etc. Beverages available 24/7
Wake to fresh brewed coffee and a delicious breakfast, prepared with the freshest fruits the Hood River Valley is famous for. Breakfast is served in our dining room or you may have it delivered to your room for complete privacy. Have your morning coffee in the gardens or on the front porch. Our gardens have been recognized as a Backyard Wildlife Habitat by the National Wildlife Federation and we invite you to sit by the pond and observe the many birds that visit our feeding stations. We are only an hour and a half from Portland, Oregon, a spectacular drive through the beautiful Columbia River Gorge on the Historic Columbia River Highway Scenic Byway
Visit the Mt. Hood National Forest with it's majestic Mt. Hood or take a tour on the Hood River Valley's Fruit Loop, a 35-mile, scenic drive through the valley's orchards, forests, farmlands, and friendly communities. World famous year-round skiing on Mt. Hood, fishing, miles of hiking and biking trails, and white- water rafting, all just minutes from the Inn. Cultural and historic tours, festivals, museums and art await, and for the geocacher, over 500 caches within 10 miles of the Old Parkdale Inn.

Each of our 3 guest rooms, all with private baths, are unique and named after Oregon State Symbols, Chinook, Douglas Fir, and Meadowlark. All have TVs with satellite reception, microwaves, coffee makers and refrigerators.

Old Parkdale Inn Reservation Policies and Payment Information:

Check-in is any time after 2 p.m. Check-out is 11 a.m. Rates include all state and county lodging taxes. We encourage our guests to make payment with cash and do so by offering $5 off per night room rate. Senior guests over 60 receive $10 off their stay. Two cat and a dog are in residence but are never allowed in the guest room. No guest pets please. In consideration of others, smoking is not allowed at the Old Parkdale Inn. That includes our gardens and the balcony of our Chinook Suite. There is storage for equipment and bikes. Reservations may be secured by Visa, Mastercard, or a check in the amount of the first night’s stay. Please no combining of specials, deals, or cash incentives Seven (7)-day cancellation notice is required to avoid being charged the equivalent of one nights stay, including taxes.
