Welcome to the Anchorage House Bed and Breakfast!! The Anchorage House is situated in the beautiful and historic North Carolina’s Crystal Coast town of Beaufort. Since 1525, seafarers have been drawn to the area beaches, historical sites, and wild horses of Carrot Island. For nearly 150 years, our lovely cottage has contributed to the charms of Beaufort. We invite you to make the Anchorage House your home in Beaufort as you sample the areas many attractions. The 1866 Gothic Revival cottage has many historic treasures such as heart pine floors, mahogany doors, archways and mantels. We are located at 211 Turner Street, one and a half block from the Beaufort waterfront and across the street from the Carteret County Library.
