1891 Cedar Crest Inn Description:
One of the largest and most opulent residences surviving from Asheville's 1890's boom period. Built in 1891 for Confederate officer and Charleston, South Carolina native, William E. Breese, this incredible mansion was once a focal point for the wealthy and affluent social set of the city. The impressive exterior Queen Anne architecture is only surpassed by the breathtaking interior woodwork and antique furnishings.
