In the midst of apple country in Western New York, midway between Niagara Falls/Buffalo and Rochester, you will find a lovely turn-of-the-century Victorian farm homestead known as LaMont’s Orchard View Bed & Breakfast. Bikers are welcome to store their bikes in a secure place. Guests will enjoy meandering through historical Albion, with its unique architecture, absorbing history at the local Cobblestone Museum complex and traveling through the countryside with ample fruit and vegetable farms. In this lush countryside there are several places for golfing, antiquing, and visiting historical landmarks. Orchard View is one mile north of the historic Erie Canal. A nearby local Amish community provides an opportunity to step back in time and to purchase locally made goods and furniture. Lake Ontario and the Seaway Trail are minutes from Orchard View B&B, where you can enjoy fishing, boating, or relaxing. Traveling to State University of New York at Brockport, only 15 minutes away, you will pass by Apple Country Quilt Shop and Hickory Ridge Party House in Holley, which is only 5 minutes away from Orchard View B&B.

The house was built in 1912 for the LaMont family. It has many lovely features, including a large stained glass window, many leaded windows, oak woodwork, hardwood floors, and a spacious wrap-around porch for your enjoyment and comfort. The three bedrooms are named after the original three children who grew up and lived in the home. Many of the antiques are original to the home and a touch of Sweden is noticeable throughout. Each bedroom has a private bath. One boasts having a double Jacuzzi tub. Greet the day with a hearty hot breakfast of delicious homemade baked goods, home-grown fresh fruits, Swedish pancakes, and Swedish rolls prepared by your hostess, Ingrid LaMont.
