The Linda Lee is one of the cottages developed by Peter McCollum in 1872. Its façade still closely resembles the original design. This Carpenter Gothic Cottage was the year round home of John Henry Benezet, a Cape May merchant and councilman. For over 50 years the house remained in the Benezet Family. It was named Linda Lee after Benezet's favorite granddaughter, who while a single lady was quite a fixture on the Cape May social scene.
