Reagan's Queen Anne Bed & Breakfast Description:
Welcome to Hannibal..."America's Hometown", and boyhood home of Samuel Langhorne Clemens, commonly known as Mark Twain. Join the 'Keepers of the Inn' in a graceful Painted Lady and experience the Comfortable Elegance of a beautifully appointed Victorian Mansion. Experience a bit of the privileged lifestyle of a nineteenth century lumber baron, on the street Victorians designated as 'Millionaire's Row'. Inside guests find original features, including magnificently carved woodwork, original brass lighting fixtures, a dozen stained glass windows, and ornately carved fireplace mantles with Rookwood tiles, all of which remain in remarkable condition. Experience the expansive verandah. Come "sit a spell" in one of our comfy rockers, and let your mind drift back to a simpler time, when life seemed to move along at a much slower pace. Experience the sights and sounds of this famous Mississippi River town, as Mark Twain did 100 years before. Reagan's Queen Anne was awarded "Best Breakfast in the USA" Top Ten in North America by Inn Traveler Magazine, 2005.
