When travelers in the 1800s returned from
Italy, they brought home an affection for the country villas filled with sunlight and fresh air, aromatic food and flowers. The historic Nims/Wilcox house in the Village of
Lexington is such a home -- reminiscent of the Italian country villas which inspired its architectural style. Built by business man and State Senator, Willian Reuben Nims, and later occupied by Dr. George Wilcox, this stately home holds a special place in the history and memories of our village. As stewards of this legacy, we welcome you to
Inn the
Garden B&B.
Inn the
Garden B&B is a short walk to village shops, and

Also available-- sailing, charter fishing and boating, a paved bike path, annual art fairs, antique shops, summer concerts in the park, tennis, birdwatching, windsurfing, charter diving, a barn theater, apple and berry picking, Christmas tree cutting, and just plain relaxing under the century old maple trees.
