Bay View Bed and Breakfast Inn Description:
For over 40 years Stafford Smith and his family have owned, operated, and lovingly restored, this grand Northwest Michigan Victorian Country Inn on the shores of Lake Michigan's Little Traverse Bay. Built in 1886 in the Historic Landmark District of Bay View, this Inn sets the standard in country inn dining and gracious service. Each beautifully appointed guest room features a private bath, period furnishings and antiques. All guests enjoy a complimentary country inn breakfast.

Upon check-in, our guests are immediately whisked away from the fast-paced world outside to a quiet respite in which to retreat. Our property features 31 guest rooms, each individually decorated with period furnishings, wall covers, and bedding. While all of our guest rooms feature private baths and are fully air-conditioned, none of the rooms has a television or telephone--those modern conveniences are located in the common areas of the inn.

Bay View Bed and Breakfast Inn Reservation Policies and Payment Information:

Cancellation Policy: We kindly ask that you inform us of cancellation plans at least seven (7) days prior to your scheduled arrival. Guests cancelling reservations within seven (7) days of scheduled arrival will forfeit their deposit.
Reservation Policy: A deposit of one night's stay is required at time of reservation to secure lodging.
Smoking Policy: We are pleased to be a completely smoke-free property.
Children: Adult supervised and well-behaved children of all ages are welcome at the Inn.
Pets: We are sorry, but we do not accept pets at the Bay View Inn. Guest Services would be happy to help you locate boarding kennels nearby.
