The house was built in 1883 for Judge Thomas E. Webster. It is nestled between two very large 1800's churches. On the adjacent property is the Trinity Episcopal Church where the Websters attended Sunday services. Mr. Webster donated a beautiful alter in memory of his first wife after she died. The Webster family owned the home for over 60 years. In the early 1940's it was sold and converted to a girl's boarding house. Around 1949 it was then converted into three apartments that were decommissioned in the mid-sixties. When Dan and Linda bought the house in 2000 it had been empty for over three years.
