The Golden Slipper - Bed & Breakfast Afloat Description:
The Golden Slipper, Boston’s B&B “Afloat” is a 1984 Catalina
Chris Craft. The 40’ Yacht is located at Lewis Wharf, in the
heart of historic Boston. The boat stays moored at the slip
and you come and go as you please. This is a private party
yacht accommodating up to six guests, with a continental
breakfast left for you. Cruises of Boston Harbor and dinners
are available upon request, during your stay. The Golden
Slipper offers a unique bed and breakfast experience, with the
opportunity to cruise Boston Harbor for a day or sunset cruise.
You return to your slip, the innkeepers leave, and you
continue to enjoy your yacht for the rest of your visit.
If you are looking for an absolutely unique and romantic B&B
experience to celebrate a birthday, anniversary, engagement,
or wedding, the Golden Slipper awaits. It is an ideal romantic
getaway for two, but also a fun adventure for four. Two private
staterooms are offered with plenty of privacy for both couples,
and room to relax on the yachts front and aft decks.
The main salon accommodates 2 more people on a double
berth sofa. This layout is perfect for a family vacation, reunion,
or “girls' getaway”. The business traveler can enjoy a unique,
comfortable setting, as well, and entertain clients with a
sunset dinner cruise.

The Golden Slipper has 2 private State Rooms. The aft cabin
offers a spacious walk around queen sized bed with a private
bathroom that includes a bathtub and shower. The forward
berth has a full sized bed and a private bathroom with a
shower only. The comfortable main salon offers a roomy galley
and a spacious sofa that can be converted to a double bed.
Thus, the boat can accommodate up to 6 people.
Located at our very secure, locked marina you're within a
short 10-minute walk to Faneuil Hall Marketplace, the
Freedom Trail, The New England Aquarium, the trolley,
Historical Monuments and Museums and Boston's Little Italy,
the North End.
DVD player is available, along with a library of DVD movies for
the use of our guests. CD player also available.
Golden Slipper is convenient to many nearby attractions and
activities, including sailing schools, bicycle rentals, whale
watching cruises, and guided national and state park tours.

Boston Harbor Island Cruises: Inquire about availability!
Food & Drink: A breakfast basket is included for your enjoyment. You are
welcome to bring your own food and drink, have it catered, or we would
encourage you to check out the local restaurants! Catered dockside dinners
can be arranged - please contact us to discuss this ahead of time.
Parking: Marina parking is available to our guests at a rate of $30.00 per 24-

B&B Rental Policies & Payment Information
Two-night minimum stay on weekends (Friday/Saturday check-in)
Season - Open May 1 to October 31
Check-in 2:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Check out by 11:00 AM
Late check-in fee: $40.00 (later than 9:00 p.m.)
Credit cards are accepted through PayPal - send payment to
bnbafloat@gmail.com
50% deposit (Full payment in advance for 1-night stay) - payable by credit card
through PayPal, or by mailing a check
Balance payable on arrival in cash or travellers check, or ten days in advance
through PayPal.
Cancellations 4 weeks in advance for a full refund of deposit; thereafter, deposit
will be returned upon re-booking
Contact us to inquire about family, senior (5%), and military (10%) discounts!
Children ages 5+ are welcome.
Smoking: Permitted only on the outside deck.
Pets: We cannot accommodate pets.
Accessibility: Please be aware that there is a ramp to access the docks which
is affected by the tide, and there are stairs to enter the boat itself. The marina
itself is accessed through a locked gate.
Overnight accommodations are subject to city and state taxes totalling 14.95%
(MA 5.7%, Boston 6.5% and 2.75%)
