The Garden Gables Inn Description:
Elegance abounds in this 17-room historic Inn located in the breathtaking Berkshire mountains of western Massachusetts. The Inn is in the heart of Lenox Village, home to the area's best restaurants, cultural attractions, art galleries, shopping and recreation. Within steps of the Village, yet set back on five lushly landscaped acres, the Inn provides tranquility with the convenience of being only a mile from Tanglewood. A private spa treatment room staffed by a licensed massage therapist and yoga classes led by the Inn's certified yoga instructor are a great advantage to guests who wish to truly relax in the comfort of the Inn!
A tantalizing breakfast is included in your stay and expertly prepared by our chef. The guest pantry is stocked with beverages and freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. Guests are also invited to afternoon Sherry. Guest rooms all have private baths, air conditioning, phones, cable TV, spa robes and Aveda products. Many also have king size beds and fireplaces -- the two suites have a 42" flat screen TV, mini fridge and private porche/balcony. Wireless Internet is available throughout the Inn.
Stay with us and see why our Inn has been frequented by some of the most notable people in history. Innkeepers Joe and Cindy are there to ensure that you have a wonderful experience and are available at time of booking to assist you in planning your trip.
The Vittori family also own the 200 acre Hilltop Orchards, home of Furnace Brook Winery (the Berkshire's First Farm Winery). They invite you to visit for a free taste of their award-winning varietals and to shop the farm winery store for fresh baked goods, homemade preserves and fresh pressed cider. While you are there, relax and savor the moment in the Normandy Gazebo with its commanding views of the Berkshire hills. Visit www.furnacebrookwinery.com for more information. As farm owners, the Vittori’s are dedicated to supporting other local farmers by buying regionally grown and prepared foods for their Inn’s kitchen. They also grow their own herbs on the grounds of the Inn, which Cindy will pick daily for use by their chef.
