Lanes Cove House Description:
Lanes Cove House is an 1800s Victorian, quaint, cozy and comfortable. Enjoy pre-breakfast coffee in your room if you like, followed by a delicious, generous continental breakfast in the dining room or on the deck overlooking picturesque Lanes Cove in Lanesville, one of Gloucester’s most charming villages. After breakfast walk down to explore Lanes Cove, or to some of the granite quarries, or walk ten minutes to Plum Cove, our small village beach.
However you spend the rest of the day, try to return in time to watch the beautiful sunsets from the deck. We welcome business travelers to this quiet, safe house and village, and try to meet your unique needs for early or to-go breakfasts. Lanes Cove House is now ready for your wireless laptop.

Guests are welcome to use this extra sitting room on the guestroom level for snacks and relaxation. Not visible in the photo above are a sofa and a bookcase, holding a variety of books and videos. Also available are a cordless phone, board games, puzzles and playing cards, and, hopefully still in good working condition when you get here, a computer and printer.
In the hallway, there's another guest refrigerator and an iron & board. When the weather permits, most guests take their breakfast on the large deck overlooking picturesque Lanes Cove. Otherwise, they enjoy the formal, but warm and inviting dining room. The Living Room offers fabulous views of the cove, access to the large deck, a gas fireplace, a Bose CD player, overhead fans and of course, air conditioned comfort.
