The
Inn is a generously sized 136 foot long telescope farm house. This unique design simultaneously lends a sense of spaciousness as well as privacy. Everywhere one turns it seems possible to discover an interesting garden feature. A wisteria arbor, a lovely perennial, an antique gate, or just a comfy tree-shaded chair or hammock for a relaxed pause.
Spectacular, not-to-be-missed sunsets. Our dock benches are the perfect place to sip a cool glass of Chardonnay and say goodbye to a special day. Upon entering the spacious reception/living room, attention is drawn to the polished baby grand. Amateurs or virtuosos are welcome to tickle the ivories. The inviting dining room is an eclectic blend of antique and contemporary furnishings including an impressive chandelier and fireplace. Breakfasts are always a creative labor of love designed to delight the palate. Since we are blessed with only the most interesting guests, it isn't surprising to be part of a fascinating discussion, even if you aren't a morning person!
Flooded with light, the spacious seasoned cherry-wood library with over-sized club chairs invites reflective book perusal or convivial gatherings to enjoy a complimentary drink and tasty bite. A perfect spot for your first cup of coffee with the morning paper, or a glass of wine and a good book at sunset. With views in all directions, you won't miss a thing. Something is always in bloom in one of the many gardens. The heirloom tomatoes from our organic garden were a special treat this year.
