The Crocker Pond House Description:
The Crocker Pond House was designed and built by Stuart Crocker, Architect, to provide a bed and breakfast retreat with beauty inside and out. The shingle-style house was designed to be harmonious with the fifty acres of pine and birch which surround it. The house invites the natural world in, and it invites those inside out onto patios, decks, and lawns with its views to surrounding trees and distant mountains, our little pond, and the occasional moose.
The Crocker Pond House is a friendly place for restoration and renewal. You can talk in front of the fire or on the porch, or find many spots indoors and out for solitude and quiet. You will have easy access to shops and ski slopes and still be away from crowds and clamor. The Crocker Pond House incorporates the nostalgia of the Maine "cottage" with contemporary comfort. Each room has a private bath, phone, and southern views to the mountains. One room is fully wheelchair accessible, with roll-in shower and deck.
