Main Street Bed & Breakfast Description:
A charming, large classic New England homestead, built in 1820 by Dr. Reuel Barrows, one of the founding members of the Fryeburg Temperance Union. Succeeding generations of families built additions to accommodate their growing needs. Faithfully restored by its present owner, Main Street Bed & Breakfast offers a peaceful haven. Beautifully decorated bedrooms and modern bathrooms assure your comfort.
Fryeburg, Maine is located on the western boundary of Maine in an area providing exciting year round outdoor activities. Within fifteen minutes you can enjoy skiing at Shawnee Peak or Mt. Cranmore, canoeing and kayaking on the Saco River, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, hiking, and tax-free factory outlets in nearby North Conway.
