We came to Chicago with our child to meet some friends so we booked an entire apt. We were quite pleased. The location is just a few blocks from a lot of stuff and one block to the subway. The apt is very big and filled with antiques but in a tasteful way -- not overpoweing and not heavy. And it was air-conditioned and has a wonderful sundeck for a bottle of wine in the evening with our friends. There is no real breakfast, but there is a grocery one block away so we got the stuff we like anyway and just fixed it in the big kitchen with a Sub zero refrigerator and glass top stove and other niceties. The host and hostess were very helpful about what to eat and where to go and see stuff so they really helped to make our vacation even better. We would recommend this to anyone who wants a quiet restful vacation home with a lot of space, not like a single hotel room.
