At Journeys End Bed and Breakfast is not your typical Victorian bed and breakfast inn, but truly a journey to exotic places with newly designed and decorated themed bedrooms: Egypt, Safari, China, Key West Suite, and.Cheeky French Boudoir.. Built as a private home in the late 1800’s, this Victorian home hearkens to a more gracious era with its heart of pine planked floors and gracious staircase. We feature King/Queen beds, oversized Jacuzzi tub, complimentary beverages, and ample on-site parking.

Completely restored/reincarnated in 1996, the Inn still maintains its authentic bones. In keeping with traditional southern hospitality, overnight guests enjoy a full gourmet breakfast served every morning with sunshine and pleasant conversation with interesting guests who come from all over the world. We love it when guests are awakened by the tantalizing aromas and are drawn into the kitchen for that first cup of coffee.

Our beautiful guest rooms are exceptionally clean with private baths and verandahs and decorated with authentic period pieces and original art. With our wonderful verandahs and porch swing that whisper, “Slow down”, “Relax”, there are no shortage of romantic hide-aways.

Our guests are often first-time visitors to a B&B. Frequently, they are apprehensive, frightened, excited, and curious, all at the same time. Before their arrival, they tend to contact us more [than experienced inngoers] and are very honest about their concerns. I love seeing their faces when I greet them at our front door. Hesitation turns to warmth and excitement, and their concerns melt away. From the first sip of a welcoming glass of wine or freshly brewed cup of coffee, they are tickled at having taken a risk. Every time new quests beam brightly about their rooms or our B&B in general, through their eyes, I get to fall in love all over again.

Several things highlight the days at our B&B: reading or hearing guests’ comments about how restful and quiet their stay was; how much they loved their room in particular and our B&B in general; the extra touches we include for their special event or occasion; our hospitality; and the gourmet breakfasts we serve. Probably the most rewarding and fun times are interacting with the guests at the breakfast table when we share lively, funny, interesting, and educational conversations that make running a B&B worth all the hard work and long hours.
