Quietly nestled on 15 acres, adjacent to East Sooke Park on the southern tip of Vancouver Island, sandy ocean beaches and world-famous hiking trails are a 10 minute walk. It is 35 minutes from Victoria and 15 minutes from Sooke, British Columbia, Canada. Private and secluded with all the amenities of modern living. High ceilings, sky-lights,and large windows enhance the panoramic view. The kitchen is fully-equipped, well-stocked, and has a window seat plus table. The dining room overlooks the lake. There is a BBQ and dining area on the deck as well as a Sundance 'Altimar' Hot tub/Spa to soothe away the stresses of every day living. Two bedrooms upstairs plus a hide-a-bed in an alcove by the river rock fireplace sleeps 6. Freshly-picked fruit and vegetables from our organic greenhouse are supplied as a welcoming gift. Spring water is good for drinking. Bookings of 5 nights receive a bonus sailing trip and/or marine scenic tour on board our 36' sailboat. We have resident eagles, hawks, and blue heron, as well as other wildlife.
