Jordan House - An Edwardian Country Inn Description:
Built in 1900 and fully restored to the grand character of that era, this bed & breakfast is found on a working farm that has been tended by a succession of Jordans since 1838. Jordan House offers nearby access to Highway 401, an hour’s drive from Detroit/Windsor and three hours from Toronto. The atmosphere of a large private home pervades the tastefully decorated rooms; antiques, fresh flowers, and many charming 'extras' give a feeling of luxury and comfort second to none. Expect to enjoy good food, good friends and good conversation at Jordan House. Here, one well imagines that rural Ontario has caught a whiff of the good life!

Both High Speed Internet Wireless and Network Connection through the house. The Dining Room, with its ornate fireplace, is our only nod to the Victorian era. On crisp winter mornings, there's nothing like a satisfying breakfast next to the fire. This room may be used as a private dining room for dinners for 4 to 24 people. High teas and receptions may also be booked.

Room reservations may be placed over the phone, and reservation requests can be submitted via e-mail at reservations@jordan-house.com. We are a Country Inn located in Chatham-Kent, Ontario, Canada just off the 401 Highway at the Bloomfield Exit, offering a full range of meal requirements and accommodations for those who are in need of long term accommodations.
Beds are dressed in quality linens with feather tics atop foam mattresses. Down duvets assure a comfortable night's sleep. Data ports and desks in each room offer a private place in which to work after hours. A three km. running strip around the property provides a safe place for exercise. Laundry service is available and at Jordan House, you may come and go as you please; your own key is provided.
We cater to wedding receptions / corporate receptions for up to 30 people indoors or out.
Small meetings and corporate gatherings may be arranged including morning coffee, luncheon and afternoon tea.
Jordan House is smoke-free indoors.
Please inquire about pets.
Jordan House is not suitable for children under 10.

Your reservation may be cancelled up to 7 days in advance of your arrival date. After that date, payment equal to the first night's stay or one half of the total booking, whichever is greater, will be required.
