Castle Island Getaway is located on two private acres, one half block from the scenic and uncrowded Pebble Beach of Crescent City, California. From San Francisco the drive north takes you through the wine country of Sonoma County, the river valleys of Humboldt County and into the majestic redwood forests of Del Norte County. If you're traveling down the spectacular Washington & Oregon coast, you'll cross the northern California border into the town of Smith River which is known as the "Lily Capital of the World". Or travel from Interstate Hwy 5, head west along Hwy 199 and view the pristine Smith River gorge and Smith River National Recreation Area. Any road into Del Norte County is a beautiful preview of what you'll experience during your stay.

Our guests stay in a spacious upstairs guest room with private bath & separate sitting area. The rooms are decorated in country charm and each window offers a view of our wooded acreage, with the sounds of the ocean and wildlife ever present during the day and night. Bicycles are available for our guests to enjoy a ride along Pebble Beach and view the wildlife refuge, Castle Island. Or just relax in the quiet peacefulness of our little corner of Del Norte County, "the Pearl of the Northwest".
