Brannan Cottage Inn Bed and Breakfast Description:
This charming Victorian Wine Country Cottage bed and breakfast, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, was built in 1860 by Samuel Brannan, Calistoga's founder and one of California's early entrepreneurs. Of the original 25 cottages, only three remain and the Inn has the only cottage remaining at its original location according to the town layout developed by Brannan.
On the National Historic Register, the Brannan Cottage Inn Bed and Breakfast, located in the Napa Valley, Calistoga, California, Calif., CA, provides lodging and accommodations in an authentic Victorian cottage, conveniently located near shops, spas, and restaurants.
Distinguished by its intricate gingerbread, gable-board and scalloped ridge cresting, the bed and breakfast features a broad wraparound porch and a private courtyard surrounded by ornamental gardens, with lawn area and garden on the south side. We have a total of six rooms, four standard one-bedroom units and two mini-suites (with an additional sitting area and the ability to sleep four guests). We offer a full breakfast each morning and on Fridays have a "wine and cheese hour" in the late afternoon/early evening.
Brannan Cottage Inn Bed and Breakfast is approximately five minutes walking distance to Calistoga's popular restaurants, spas, shops, and sports facilities. The inn is available for small meetings and special events year round, with outdoor facilities available in warmer months. Guests enjoy private off-street parking (with security lighting).
"The afternoon light filtering through the majestic trees provided a warmth that was balanced by the fresh breeze from the patio and garden. It feels like home here, not where I live, but where I would like to be. Thanks for sharing this special place."
