Strawberry Surprise

2 cups of strawberried sliced (fresh or frozen)
2 cups of ice cubes
1 cup sugar (or less if strawberries are sweet)
1 cup white wine (or ginger ale for non-alchoholic drink)

Put strawberries and ice cubes in blender and blend until smooth
Add sugar to taste
Add wine or ginger ale
Blend again

Drink immediately as a smoothie
Put into soup bowls, thin with a little more liquid and serve as a cold soup - put a dollop of vanilla yougurt on top
Put into freezer and enjoy a sorbet.

It's called Strawberry Surprise since your guests never know which version they will be served.
