Country Victorian B & B Baked Oatmeal1 cup vegetable oil3 large eggs 4 1/2 tsp. baking powder 2 1/4 cups milk 1 1/2 cup brown sugar 6 cups quick oats 3/4 tsp salt 3/4 cup nuts (almonds, walnuts, pecans your choice) Fruit of choice about 1 1/2 cups In a large bowl, mix: oilbrown sugar, and eggs. Mix oatmeal, baking powder, salt, milk & nuts. Add to egg mixture. Add fruit. Bake in greased 9X13 pan at 350 degrees F for about 45 minutes or until set. You can also bake in individual ramekins. Serves 8-10. |
