Talkeetna Chalet Bed & Breakfast is located in one of Alaska's most visited scenic areas. From our country setting you will enjoy views of Denali, Foraker, and Mt. Hunter. 129 miles north of Anchorage, Talkeetna is nestled at the base of Mount McKinley (Denali), which is North America's highest peak. There is much to see and do in our historic town. Our community is well known to the mountaineers of Mt. McKinley as it is considered the staging area for climbers to the peak. The mighty King Salmon return to the local rivers in June. We are conveniently located 3 miles from the town of Talkeetna, near the local airport and train depot and are just 10 miles from the Parks Highway.

Check in is between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. If after 5 p.m., must have made prior arrangements or call ahead. Please, no check in before 3.p.m.

Deposit:
A 50% Deposit is required to confirm your reservation. Balance is due upon arrival.

Smoking:
Talkeetna Chalet Bed & Breakfast maintains a totally Non-Smoking Bed & Breakfast.

Cancellation:
If you cancel your reservation greater than 72hours,there is a $20.00 cancellation fee to cover credit card processing fees. If you cancel less than 72 hours, your 50% deposit will be kept. If you do not show up or call, you will be charged the full room rate for the number of nights reserved..
