Log House in Alaska's Wilderness Description:
Northern Sky Lodge is located at mile 329 on the Parks Highway between Nenana and Fairbanks in Alaska's interior. Denali park is an hour and a half away. The Lodge is placed in a secluded area but with an easy access from the Parks Hway. We offer the convenience of modern comfort at the gates of the Wilderness. Relax in a beautiful rustic log house, away from the crowds, and the big resorts. We are open year round. To explore the "Country side," we offer, sled dog tours, with the dogs from our kennel. In summer, our place is ideal for relaxing, bird watching, berry picking...etc! Also, you will be able to see a working sled dog kennel and their summer activities. In Summer, the days never ends. In Winter, the longest night is 18 hours. A good opportunity for the Northern lights.
