Alaska Ocean View's guest rooms have been named after popular Alaska wildflowers and are individually decorated with local art. All guest rooms contain: TV/VCR/DVD, Bose CD player with am/fm radio, WIFI, alarm clock, sound spa, phone, data port, coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator, HEPA air cleaner, fan, iron, ironing board, down pillows and down comforter (non-down available in the room), fresh luxurious robes, fresh slippers, large spa towels, writing table, chairs and very comfortable king and queen beds; some rooms have a sofa, fireplace, patio and whirlpool.

This Sitka, Alaska lodging's private bathrooms contain: hair dryer, bathtub and shower. Also available to guests free of charge include: outdoor patio hot tub spa (bring your swim suit), shoe dryer, BBQ, umbrellas, and library of videos/books/CD's/DVD's/magazines/maps, and brochures of local attractions; and games, including outdoor games: croquet and bocce balls.

Alaska Ocean View Bed and Breakfast is a smoke-free and environmentally conscious, green inn. We are open all year and serve a free hot breakfast year round to our guests.

Dogs are welcome in the outdoor kennel, sorry, they are not welcome indoors even though we LOVE them, not all of our guests do.

The inn is a 100% smoke-free property. Smoking indoors or outdoors near windows and doors strictly prohibited. There is a designated smoking area provided outdoors away from windows, doors and gathering areas.

Deposits are generally required for peak season and convention reservations. Our cancellation policy varies from one day to four months and is determined by the reservation itself, its dates, our level of risk. and our projected occupancy (peak season, conventions versus low season, etc.). Therefore, be certain to request the cancellation policy in effect for your reservation dates. We accept all credit cards at check-out where they can be scanned. Although a credit card is given at the time of booking, it guarantees the balance due, it is not used to cover the deposit. Send a check to cover your deposit.

Deposits vary from first nights stay up to 50% of the reservation. Deposits not required for low season.

The cancellation fee is determined by costs. Call as soon as possible so the room can be re-sold reducing the fee.

The "no-show" fee includes the full cost of all reservation dates. It's always better for all to cancel than no show.

Sitka as many of Alaska's communities frequently sell out of rooms during the peak summer tourist season, therefore, it is advised you book your rooms as early as possible in order to avoid disappointment.

Please understand we are a small property with a short peak season, thus every peak room night is vitally important to the inns life-blood. Please understand there is NEVER a charge for re-sold room nights.
